Bibelverse verändert seit Darby

Zusammenfassung

Seit der Bibelübersetzung von Darby wird 2.Thess 2,2 anders übersetzt. Mit den Übersetzungen vor Darby ist die Vorentrückungslehre kaum vertretbar.

In der nachfolgenden Tabelle wird gezeigt, wie 2.Thess 2,2 im englischsprachigen Raum über die Jahrhunderte übersetzt wurde.

2.Thess 2,1-3 ¹ Wir bitten euch aber, Brüder, wegen der Ankunft unseres Herrn Jesus Christus und unseres Versammeltwerdens zu ihm hin,

- vor Darby:

… als ob der Tag des Herrn da wäre.

Praktisch alle englischen Bibeln (ausser katholische Bibeln) übersetzen seit Darby anders.

Dies dokumentiert eindrücklich den Siegeszug der Vorentrückungslehre im englischsprachigen Raum, der sich auch in der Bibelübersetzung niederschlägt.
